[Lorraine Tyrantia Hamilton, alias Sonicheart... Actually isn't from this Earth. From what some of the Hero association was willing to explain to Snowflake, Lori's power over soundwaves should not be possible here, given its origin involves the kinds of supertech AND magic that left the world decades ago.
Lori, for her part, is trying to track down a portal scientist and villain from a THIRD world, some bloke codenamed Madman. Who brought her here for, in her claim of his words, "funsies."
He hasn't made tracking himself down easy so far, but Lori isn't one to give up easily. What she is, however, is in need of caffeine. And she will find it. Even if almost every brand she knew went out of business decades ago here.
Snowflake, there are many questions you might have. But until she has her drink, you're probably not going to get much out of the tired looking girl about your age, muttering incoherently and zombie walking around her temporary lodging in association.
Oh, it's 21 still... Is that it where you're from, too?
[Parallel universes and alternate timelines are well beyond her understanding, but Technobabble assures her it's legit, so she believes it that simple.]
Or at least, that's how it is in America. I guess other countries have their own drinking ages?
Going to Japan on a pure tourist basis is still in my goals list, it's 18 there.
[She takes a sip of the melon soda.]
Gotta get back home first, though. Which means finding Madman. And with the Valor Corps' traditional luck, at least two other villains will crop up on the way.
In terms of my abilities... I can actually use them somewhat without my full outfit. Soundwave effects to damage or heal. Can do some other stuff, too.
[She raises a hand into the air, closing it and lowering it in front of her face.]
Sonic system status stabilized... Henshin.
[... And her outfit seems to SHIFT. Where there was a frumpy shirt and plain pants, there is now a dress, gloves, boots, and mask, all with a musical motif.
Snowflake is pretty sure half the steps aren't needed and Sonicheart is just being, what's the word? Chuuni?]
... All cybernetic links nominal. Flight system working.
... Um. It's a quick shift for me so I figured I should highlight it a bit. Sorry.
[And after a few seconds she's back in the plain clothes.]
I've got a whole rogues gallery back home, honestly. What about you? Recurring villainous threats I should worry about? I might be able to help counter some.
Oh, no, don't worry, there's nothing like that! We haven't had a 'supervillain' in decades.
Mostly we help with natural disasters or things like robberies or busjacking. I help fight fires, for example! Oh, and sometimes monsters do show up, but we stop them as fast as we can- They don't seem to be intelligent at all, but no one knows where they come from, either.
That's... Hmm. A very different world, then. But that shouldn't surprise me after some of where I've been.
Though that does make me worry what happen the first time one does show up. But that might be just paranoid tendencies borne of... Well, I've had some things happen.

How do you solve this immediate issue?]

Bringing Sonicheart a sweet, sugary drink.]
Sorry, I wasn't sure what kind you like, so I brought my favorite! Melon soda!

[She does take the soda, though. And her tone has at least some more warmth and coherence in appreciation of the intent.]
I dunno what the alcohol age is in this future, but I'm too young for it back home. So caffeine is the substitute.
