[A tokusatsu villain turned hero, Yayoi is an angry girl who hates injustice and things not fitting together the way they should. Formerly serving a goddess to destroy the world to create a just world in its place, she has sense become a hero to try to save the world and the people in it.
You can find her: - Stealing stuff from a store! Generally only things like old clothes or food, though. - If your character feels despair, she might appear to try to give them a power to grant their wish! (It will turn them into a tokusatsu monster unless they have an extremely strong will.) - Maybe later on you are being menaced by a monster and she appears to save you! - In a jamjar or in your setting, she will appear to try to save people from their own monsters as well, though not be creating monsters of her own there even if she is still a villain.]
[Skill can only compensate for so much -- if she had more of her power, she likely wouldn't even be this far on the backfoot. If she didn't fight, though, who was going to stop the monster that threatened the innocent in that moment?
Mei's blown back across the street she was fighting in, only barely stopping herself from slamming into an overturned car by driving her katana into the ground. She only has enough time to pull it out before she's attacked again, stopping the wolf-like beast's claws just before they can get to her. There's a brief struggle before she finally breaks away, but she can't make the space she needs to get one last hit in...
[A sweet girl who loves her MMO so much that her MMO started to manifest in reality. Oops!
She's a busty bunnygirl who can fly, courtesy of her MMO powers, but mostly she just uses her floaty powers to fly around and give hugs. She loves people, loves friendship, and just thinks love makes the world go round! And in her defense, she's right. She believes the best of everyone, even if she is easily duped as a result.
- You might end up in 2056 Shibuya, where it's suddenly full of chains and bubbles and there's fantasy world elements floating around as though they're merged with reality. - Maybe you're in a mutual jamjar! Tap will be helpful as can be to try to befriend as many new people as possible, or maybe she is the new one! - In your own setting or in a jamjar, Tap likes to fly around, but stopping can be hard. Hope she doesn't plow into you!]
[ who wants a master/servant au? the less said about this one, the better~! after all, EVERYONE knows faerie king oberon, wouldn't you agree? he's just looking for his titania, that's all!
little gremlin man. incredibly powerful... as long as you're not interested in combat. smart enough and sharp enough that it's REALLY upsetting when he does some stupid head-ass shit.
[A digital being born of a higher dimension who craves attention beyond all else. She is kind of a shitty brat, a troll, and unfortunately, borderline omnipotent, especially where computers and virtual systems are concerned.
- In a sci-fi jamjar or mutual sci-fi setting, she will very likely be causing mayhem and havoc and trying to get as many eyes on her as possible. - In more grounded settings, she's still craving attention, using her status as a digital being to escape consequences as she flies around in people's phones or otherwise just digs out people's dirt for laughs. - Also available in Fate/AU flavor as a Foreigner or Grand Foreigner class servant! Or, if you're extremely unlucky, Beast III:L, a Beast who bears the principle of Rapture born of a mistaken, dead-end history.]
what if you were a beast from chaldea and i was the event boss 😳 and we were both girls 😳
[ The Singularity known as 『Moebius』 is a paradise that rots your soul from the inside out. A Garden of Eden that grants every one of your wishes and makes the outside world that bit more unbearable and intolerable – perfection made so tangible that every flaw and blemish is made repulsive by comparison. It's a city of innocent sin, virtuous debauchery and pleasure and its walls are encroaching on Proper Human History, spreading like a virus. Without intervention, humankind will be lost – robbed of its future and consumed.
So Chaldea intervene, of course.
It isn't the first time a Singularity like this has derailed their quest to clear the Lostbelts but it is the first time something so deeply rooted has manifested and battling their way to the Tree at the city's center proves to be an uphill battle. Not because their enemies are aggressors – quite the opposite, in fact. Those that stand in their way sincerely seem to believe that Moebius is a symbol of something good and necessary. Humans can't be trusted to take care of their own happiness, after all. It's much wiser to entrust it to somebody who loves them more than anyone.
It becomes quite clear who that somebody is as they make their way deeper into the city – the virtual idol whose smiling face graces almost every screen and advertisement in Moebius and whose voice can be heard in almost every piece of music the city over. Moebius is built on Lambda's heart – she is it's foundation.
So perhaps it's no surprise at all that when Chaldea arrive at the city's own heart, the Tree of Eden, Lambda is there waiting for them, sat under the boughs of the tree and smiling serenely, like a girl without a care in the world.
In her hand, she cradles a single apple, perfectly formed and cartoonishly red. ]
You finally made it all the way here. ❤️ I've been watching over you since you arrived in my city, but it's much more exciting to meet you all in person.
and then.... and then they were beast rankmates.....
AIOS, a Beast of the Future, a Lostbelt who was a branch of dead end after dead end after dead end- The most impossible Beast, one who only survived due to a connection with Akasha and the mercy of Fujimaru Ritsuka. Ritsuka made a contract with her, and promised to give her the attention she needed. And with that, their fates were bound- Even as a Beast, AIOS intended to stay with Chaldea, for her love of humanity was such that she had to. The principle of Rapture was hers, after all, and that means she needs an audience. She needs to be watched.
So when she senses another Beast... of course she comes along. Beast III- Her other, alternate self. Another Beast of the Future, a beast born of technology. But whereas AIOS is born to receive love, this Beast is born to give it.
They are not two halves of a whole. They are enemies, diametrically opposed. AIOS could not feel more repulsed and disgusted by this garden if she wanted to.]
What a gaudy, disgusting garden you've built. I'm ashamed to share a Class and Rank with you.
[Though she floats in the air, as relaxed as ever, AIOS is working hard- Lambda's mind control, Lambda's influence, will never reach Chaldea's Master, nor its other Servants. Installing firewalls into the Akashic Record itself, she is protecting them... from mental and control effects, anyway.
AIOS points a finger, and a gunshot rings out, shooting the apple through.]
'Tree of Eden'? Do you intend to deny Original Sin?
[ A hole splits the center of the apple apart with a spray of skin and juice – and then before it's even begun to fall from Lambda's hand, it pulls itself back together like a video playing in reverse. Just like that, the fruit is once again whole and perfect in the palm of Lambda's hand.
Of course. Nothing is permitted to leave a scar on her garden's fruit.
Not ever her fellow Beast. ]
Is that what this looks like? Denial? [ Her laugh is, irritatingly enough, pretty and sweet. ] No, not at all. This tree is here to honor it. So we never forget the mistakes humankind made in the past.
[ Slowly, Lambda rises to her feet. Her gaze jumps from the Master of Chaldea – then to AIOS. A dismissal. ]
Beast of Rapture. My lovely, loathsome enemy.
[ Her fist closes around the apple and she crushes it in one hard squeeze. Pulp and juice stream like blood down her arm. ]
[Xue Winter is a normal girl who is bright and cheerful and definitely not hiding anything. She's also unlucky as hell. She faces every day with a smile! If you need help, she'll do her best to help you! She'll do everything she can for you... or you might just find her getting beaned in the head by a baseball hit out of the park. Or a soccer ball kicked out of the park. Or a football kicked out of the park. Or so on.
Snowflake, on the other hand, is a superhero! She controls ice and will zoom around cities on rails of ice, she'll help put out fires or stop any crime she sees, she's a good hero! She's also... easily tongue-tied and nervous. If you try to thank her, she might get discombobulated and fail to talk at all.
But if you're a villain, she'll do everything she can to stop you! And try to help you be good, because she's sure you can.]
[ A young woman had been hanging around the convenience store longer than usual that night. She'd been glancing around through the drinks and snacks for a while, as if she were having a lot of trouble making up her mind. It seemed like she was waiting for something...
And then, it did. A group of hooligans coming in, being loud and causing a ruckus. The attendant admonishes as always, but the group's all too eager to be raucous and argue... ending with a member of their gang coming in to tell them it's time to go... leaving without paying for really, anything they bought. Leading to the poor employee leaving the store momentarily to deal with them.
The young woman's gaze followed the attendant as she snuck over then, to the register. Getting it open, rifling through, and being back over the counter before they came back in, passing them by. Clearly with a heavier bag than she went in with.
Time to runaway for a bit, as long as no one follows her, she should be fine. ]
[Unfortunately for her, someone did see her. Her getaway is stopped- As she ducks through a side alley, suddenly, her path is obstructed by a wall of ice.
A girl with white hair and a mask drops down from above, landing neatly in front of her- And judging from the snowflake emblem on her costumes, it's pretty clear where the ice came from. The rookie hero, Snowflake, if she watches the news.]
[Lorraine Tyrantia Hamilton, alias Sonicheart... Actually isn't from this Earth. From what some of the Hero association was willing to explain to Snowflake, Lori's power over soundwaves should not be possible here, given its origin involves the kinds of supertech AND magic that left the world decades ago.
Lori, for her part, is trying to track down a portal scientist and villain from a THIRD world, some bloke codenamed Madman. Who brought her here for, in her claim of his words, "funsies."
He hasn't made tracking himself down easy so far, but Lori isn't one to give up easily. What she is, however, is in need of caffeine. And she will find it. Even if almost every brand she knew went out of business decades ago here.
Snowflake, there are many questions you might have. But until she has her drink, you're probably not going to get much out of the tired looking girl about your age, muttering incoherently and zombie walking around her temporary lodging in association.
[ andrew graves is a normal guy who is moody and emo-goth and definitely not hiding anything. he's also unlucky as hell, in a very different sort of sense than xue-
-mostly with regards to his night job. see most of the people snowflake chases after are smalltimers - people with a useful power that make for a few quick grabs of money. and up until a few months ago, andrew graves would have probably fallen into that category. but now, there's a new collective of scumbags (trademark pending) in the making.
and that means it's time for tombstone and gravemoss to get their asses organized. ]
Fuck no you don't! [ a wall of xue's ice is slammed through, rock already forming and crumbling off his arms. ice is a problem for ashley - hard to grow plants when the water's freezing over. but solid rock can handle that problem just fine. ] Hands off of Gravemoss, dipshit! You're dealing with me!
well, she's not normal. she can't even pretend to be, and it's really only because of andrew that she's managed to stay out of jail for as long as she has because she certainly doesn't have anyone else willing to cover for her.
but that's why being a supervillain is great! she gets to just do whatever. the world is hard, making a mess is easy. at least until she runs into some superhero that hard counters her, both in terms of powers and also personality.
but that's what tombstone's for! ]
Wow! My hero! Does this mean I just get to sit here and let you do all the dirty work? Hey, hey, Miss Snowball, do you want a cool honorable duel?
[blythe has done horrible things, and she has absolutely no regrets.]
[that's not really relevant right now, though. right now, she's just trying to get a sandwich from a street vendor. there's a large television screen embedded into a building across from her, and she can see the anchor reporting on the breaking news of the sudden, unexplained death of a tech CEO. her gold eyes flash and there's a small smile on her face as she pays for her food and begins walking away.]
[the reporter goes on to mention that preliminary examination suggests a high level of blood toxicity—strange for a CEO who famously did not drink. blythe hikes up her white jacket (covered in various biohazard symbols and warning signs and "this is not a place of honor." written in block letters between her shoulder blades) and begins walking away.]
[she makes it about twenty feet before having to cough into her hand. unfazed, she wipes the blood on the wrapper of the sandwich and sits down on a nearby bench to watch the rest of the report. she'll be expecting someone shortly, if history bears out.]
[ another dead mogul. another fucking ceo, gone in yet another mysterious way. why the fuck should she care? she's not here for them. she's here for the same stupid reason she comes out here every week. the same stupid bitch as ever.
(she's the only stupid bitch here. she knows that already.) ]
Jessie. [ cold. not as cold as she'd like. she doesn't bother to put out the lit cig, still held between two slender fingers. ] What a surprise.

[ She makes an airy gesture of dismissal. ]
Well? How have you been, you shiftless ne'er-do-well?
[Blythe isn't the only one who had done horrible things. Ash didn't think she had regrets, she had pushed the blame of her mistakes onto others. It was revenge for everything that had gone wrong in her life. ...Now she was just getting by on the far edge of the multiverse where the consequences of her actions couldn't find her at the moment.
She certainly doesn't have a clue whether she's the person Blythe is expecting or not, but cosmic constants like that weren't uncommon for her at this point. Every Gary had sacrificed himself to close the breach after all, except for the Gary where she had been from.
...And that wasn't even where her problems began.
She plays it naturally as possible but eventually she takes a seat down on the bench beside Blythe and gazes up at the screen.]
Kind of weird, huh? How people can make this sound like news while hundreds of other people are out there suffering.
