[ A young woman had been hanging around the convenience store longer than usual that night. She'd been glancing around through the drinks and snacks for a while, as if she were having a lot of trouble making up her mind. It seemed like she was waiting for something...
And then, it did. A group of hooligans coming in, being loud and causing a ruckus. The attendant admonishes as always, but the group's all too eager to be raucous and argue... ending with a member of their gang coming in to tell them it's time to go... leaving without paying for really, anything they bought. Leading to the poor employee leaving the store momentarily to deal with them.
The young woman's gaze followed the attendant as she snuck over then, to the register. Getting it open, rifling through, and being back over the counter before they came back in, passing them by. Clearly with a heavier bag than she went in with.
Time to runaway for a bit, as long as no one follows her, she should be fine. ]
[Unfortunately for her, someone did see her. Her getaway is stopped- As she ducks through a side alley, suddenly, her path is obstructed by a wall of ice.
A girl with white hair and a mask drops down from above, landing neatly in front of her- And judging from the snowflake emblem on her costumes, it's pretty clear where the ice came from. The rookie hero, Snowflake, if she watches the news.]
The blonde woman raises her hands to the air, her bag still on her shoulder as she slowly turns around. ]
What money would that be, miss? I'm afraid I haven't the foggiest clue what you're talking about.
[ Speaking politely and calmly, maintaining eye contact. This was one of the newer heroes... there was still a good chance she could make it out unscathed. ]
[... that's a really good point, actually. She does seem to have the wind taken out of her sails momentarily, but.]
... I watched you come out of the store. After that big crowd left. You were alone, and you came out with a bag that was definitely not that full when you went in- And there was no one inside to pay.
Yeah, you're right. Let's see... it should be... ah, shoot!
[ An exclamation as the woman bumps something, rolling a capsule out of her bag... hitting the ground, it's a smoke bomb! If she's successful, she's going to use that to try and start the chase in the other direction, running right past Snowflake. ]
[Crap. Still, it's not going to stop her- As soon as she realizes what's going on, she gives chase, a rail of ice forming in front of her as she grinds along it, swiftly catching up...]
[ There's no way she can shake her, so she resorts to plan B: which is to Use Gun. She fires back at Snowflake, not particularly precise... and if by coincidence one hits her, she'll notice that they're just pellets.
Yeah, she's not actually packing this time around. ]
[Bullets? Shit. Snowflake raises a wall of ice in front of her to absorb the bullets- They're obviously bullets, the idea that they aren't hasn't even crossed her mind, because that's obviously a gun. But this also kills her forward momentum.
.... Until she jumps out from behind the ice, now wielding two guns of her own- Guns made of ice, of course. She fires bullets of ice into the ground in front of her, trying to stop the escape... And hoping this doesn't escalate into an actual firefight.]
She comes to a stop, glancing between the ice bullets and the superhero coming at her. All this trouble for her... if she knew it would have been this serious, she would've actually packed heat. Which means, she'll have to use her last resort then: ]

[ She doesn't make a move to lower the bag, instead just kinda shrugging one shoulder. ]

[ Not that the crowd had really done anything besides be obnoxious, and unwittingly run a distraction. ]
