She comes to a stop, glancing between the ice bullets and the superhero coming at her. All this trouble for her... if she knew it would have been this serious, she would've actually packed heat. Which means, she'll have to use her last resort then: ]

Hold it! Wait a second, time out!

[rockedsnowball]

the good news is, that worked

She skids to a halt-]

Huh? Are you surrendering?

[sweetaspie]

I wanna make a deal! Can't you just let me off this once? Just today!

[rockedsnowball]

Of course I can't let you off!

[sweetaspie]

The hell you can't! Think about it, who the hell did I even just steal from?

[rockedsnowball]

A convenience store!

[sweetaspie]

Right. I didn't steal from the clerk, or the guys fucking with the clerk, I stole from the store itself. The store's got no feelings.

[rockedsnowball]

The store's money still pays the people who work there. And the store needs money to keep itself in business.

[sweetaspie]

The store can afford to take a loss. If the guy gets it pinned on him, it'll be a lesson for him to keep his eyes on the customers.

[rockedsnowball]

So your logic is "it's his fault for being stolen from"?

[sweetaspie]

No. It's wrong place, wrong time.

I feel for the guy, I do, but I've got my own problems. I need this stuff.

[rockedsnowball]

If you feel for him, then give it back. It's not yours to take.

[sweetaspie]

And it's not his to defend with his life either. It's mine now.

[ She's holding onto the bag fairly tightly, conviction clear in her eyes. Quite a lot for a petty criminal, but she's standing her ground, as bad of an idea as it is. ]

Besides. I know you're not going to let me go after I give it back. I can't afford to spend any time anywhere else.

What are you so desperate for?!

[She's getting frustrated- She is way more comfortable with villains who just attack, or run away, instead of trying to argue it.]

Because--

[ A brief amount of hesitation. Trying to come up with some kind of out. Instead, she just narrows her eyes. ]

Because sometimes, life doesn't leave you with that many options left.

Snowflake's guns melt and evaporate. But she isn't letting her guard down- She's approaching.]

It's never right to take that away from others.

[ She's not running... honestly, she knows that'd be a waste. ]

[ Ugh. Screw it. ]

You really want the damn money back so bad?

Yes. I want to put it back where it belongs... I don't want you to add to your crimes any further.

[sweetaspie]

...well... fine. I guess.

I'll have to get it through honest means, I suppose.

[She means it! She's genuinely, so relieved.]

Okay. I just have one small request, if that's allowed.

[ She instantly drops the niceties and grimaces, staring right into Snowflake's eyes. ]
