[... that's a really good point, actually. She does seem to have the wind taken out of her sails momentarily, but.]
... I watched you come out of the store. After that big crowd left. You were alone, and you came out with a bag that was definitely not that full when you went in- And there was no one inside to pay.
Yeah, you're right. Let's see... it should be... ah, shoot!
[ An exclamation as the woman bumps something, rolling a capsule out of her bag... hitting the ground, it's a smoke bomb! If she's successful, she's going to use that to try and start the chase in the other direction, running right past Snowflake. ]
[Crap. Still, it's not going to stop her- As soon as she realizes what's going on, she gives chase, a rail of ice forming in front of her as she grinds along it, swiftly catching up...]
[ There's no way she can shake her, so she resorts to plan B: which is to Use Gun. She fires back at Snowflake, not particularly precise... and if by coincidence one hits her, she'll notice that they're just pellets.
Yeah, she's not actually packing this time around. ]
[Bullets? Shit. Snowflake raises a wall of ice in front of her to absorb the bullets- They're obviously bullets, the idea that they aren't hasn't even crossed her mind, because that's obviously a gun. But this also kills her forward momentum.
.... Until she jumps out from behind the ice, now wielding two guns of her own- Guns made of ice, of course. She fires bullets of ice into the ground in front of her, trying to stop the escape... And hoping this doesn't escalate into an actual firefight.]
She comes to a stop, glancing between the ice bullets and the superhero coming at her. All this trouble for her... if she knew it would have been this serious, she would've actually packed heat. Which means, she'll have to use her last resort then: ]
And it's not his to defend with his life either. It's mine now.
[ She's holding onto the bag fairly tightly, conviction clear in her eyes. Quite a lot for a petty criminal, but she's standing her ground, as bad of an idea as it is. ]
Besides. I know you're not going to let me go after I give it back. I can't afford to spend any time anywhere else.

[ Not that the crowd had really done anything besides be obnoxious, and unwittingly run a distraction. ]

[ Well. She'll swing her bag off of her shoulder, grumbling a bit. ]
You just want the money back, right?

[She's getting frustrated- She is way more comfortable with villains who just attack, or run away, instead of trying to argue it.]

[ A brief amount of hesitation. Trying to come up with some kind of out. Instead, she just narrows her eyes. ]
Because sometimes, life doesn't leave you with that many options left.
