[Atalante, Archer, has been summoned to Chaldea. But, well... She's a pretty weak Servant, as they go. Which means she's not as busy as some of the others.
She can be found stalking the halls of Chaldea, returning to her room after a day of training in the simulation room, bow at her side.
She also tends to help find supplies for Chaldea, walking out of the Rayshift room, dragging several boar corpses behind her... It's making something of a mess, but if you kill animals for your food, you should probably expect them to be a bit bloody?
Alternately, you might just find her in Chaldea's cafeteria, sitting at a table with her face in her hands. Why does she look so distressed? Artemis and Orion being a few tables away probably has something to do with it.
Alternately alternately! Maybe you're not a fate/ at all. Maybe you're just a random person living your life. Unfortunately, there's a girl with cat ears, a tail, and a giant fuckin bow suddenly shooting an arrow right past your face. ... It hits a monster, at least, but. Hey, safety regulations?]

his first stop is the cafeteria, where he's individually peeking under the tables. when he looks up to the resident at this table though, he's a little surprised to see - ]
. . . Archer.
[ goodness. that's a familiar face. ]
My apologies for disturbing you - er, are you alright?

[It's a response out of habit. She doesn't need to call him her Master anymore. But the memories remain.]
... It's nothing. A man of god might not understand.
[... yeah, artemis is trying to feed orion, the whole 'SAY AAAHHHH' cliche, and Atalante looks like she's dying.]

[ subtly, turning so that only his eyes follow her line of sight. Ah. ]

[why this. why this? why this!]
... This is not what I thought would come of my faith.

. . . Certainly, it is a bit of a shock to meet one's object of faith . . . Especially when that person doesn't match up to one's expectations.

She doesn't even notice Atalante coming back. ...or perhaps the better statement is that she doesn't care.]

She remembers her fight with Ruler. She remembers her fight with Jack. And...]
... Jack. Leave that alone. That's for Master to eat.
[Her voice is gentle. She's trying to be better, this time.]

The fact that Atalante seemed to avoid her didn't seem to point to that. Some of the other Servants did that as well. A serial killer wasn't exactly fitting to be around heroes, after all. It was only when she heard from some of the Servants who also went on the exorcism missions what the Archer was doing in London. It confused Jack at first but the connection seemed to be there.
That's why she barely looks up.]
We're not hurting it any. It's dead. Master won't notice the difference.
[She focuses in on the kill again. Her shoulders tighten.]
no subject
... She might. Master is spoiled with food, after all.
[It's not like the wilderness. Gudako can afford to be choosier with her meals, just because the modern era allows it.]

[Her knife slips just slightly. So what? So what if it ruins the quality of the meat? There was more boar out there.]
You're almost as good as an Assassin when it comes to murdering things.

[Her voice wavers. So, she remembers now...?]
No. Were I that skilled... I would not have hit the wrong target.

Arrow shot
Mordred easily snatched the arrow out of the air, before it made facial contact, and snapped it in half with a single move. Then, lifting a hand accusingly:]
mo-chan please
Move, Saber. You're in the way.
Never!
[She lifted a bag of hushpuppies and waved them around.]
I'm eating lunch.
why are you like this
Is this the time for such indulgences?
BECAUSE REASONS
[Mor said, stuffing her face with one more handful of hushpuppies before tossing the bag aside.]
And you're interrupting it-- but that's okay. This is fun too.
[She drew her blade-- and charged.]
mordred please

im here.
It's not like she's jealous or anything.]
...Honestly, couples like that are the worst. Would it kill them to shut up once in a while?
[She's definitely talking loud enough for Artemis to hear her. Also, hi there Atalante, this might be an awkward reunion.]
SO THIS IS HOW SHE DIES
It's- It's fine...
[help her.]

Several moments later, a horde of skeletal soldiers runs past, an alarm goes off, and Medea settles down next to Atalante and firmly ignores it as Artemis goes rushing off with Orion in tow, eager to impress her darling.]
You saw nothing.
no subject
... Aa. Even Servants have to blink sometimes, it seems.
[The relief in her voice is palpable.]

[Medea had fully intended to use this opportunity to try to reconnect with someone who hadn't been total garbage to her while she was alive, but it turns out becoming a spiteful witch doesn't really do anything for one's social capabilities.
Maybe she should have encouraged the younger her to try this instead.]
I may not be much of a healer anymore, but certain kinds of headaches don't require much expertise.

But of everyone having a rough time, clearly Atalante is having it the worst. Even if all this noise is hard on Cat's big ears, she can't bring herself to to leave just yet. A little over an hour into the nonsense, out of the kitchen she comes with an apple pie.]
Here.
[She sets the entire pie down in front of Atalante.]
no subject
A Berserker showing her compassion, though, is still weird. And, well. Apple pie? She can feel herself start to hunger already...]
Ah... Cat. Thank you...
[what else can she say. she feels like she doesn't trust herself to speak with this... spectacle in front of her.]
no subject
If you haven't solved your problem by now, you'd best give up for the day.
[Cat gets into the seat beside Atalante, sitting in it on all fours. She holds out a fork.]
